Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>This polygon dataset was created using several different criteria to delineate Critical SWPAs depending on location and data availability.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN>1. Upstream of the Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) Glendale treatment plant, a 300-foot buffer from the Truckee River and 150-foot buffers from perennial streams tributary to the Truckee River.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>2. 150-foot buffers from certain other perennial streams that are potential future “source water” for a public water system.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>3. 20-year Time-of-Travel groundwater “captures zones” for existing and potential future wells in the Truckee Meadows based on MODflow models for aquifers in the Truckee Meadows (North and South), Spanish Springs Valley, Lemmon Valley, and Cold Springs Valley.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>4. 20-year Time-of-Travel calculated fixed radius or 1000-foot minimum “capture zones” for municipal system wells (TMWA and Great Basin Water Company) not otherwise modeled.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN>5. 20-year Time-of-Travel calculated fixed radius or 750-foot minimum “capture zones” for other small Public Water System wells.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
